Here are some more highlights from the fair. My favorite part was definitely the free spindle, but the whole day was fantastic. A pretty classic day at the fair.
The giant pumpkin. It was pretty big, but it wasn't a world record contender.
I liked this little pumpkin the best. See his name? "Jack-be-little."
An awesome Justin Bieber chicken.
Little "piglings." AKA- piglet siblings.
Goat. So eager for food he stepped onto the rail.
Yes, we visited the petting zoo, and we giggled with delight the whole time.
We did NOT ride the rides. Thank goodness.
We DID explore the booths. This is a booth for a local mortuary. But no one is there...
The local Elks club hosted an actual Rat Race. A little mouse was placed under that big stuffed rat, the host spun the table around, people placed bets on what color hole the mouse would fall through, the mouse was released, drunk people screamed at the mouse to go in a specific color, mouse fell in hole, and everyone cheered.
Cute lumberjack boys.
Awesome jack russell playing fly ball. I think Oscar could have rocked this "sport."
Craftsman carving a wand on a lathe.
A wolf, with an eagle silhouette on its chest, on a confederate flag.
Yep.
As our day wound to a close, we decided to re-visit the farm animals. We love them. When we walked into the barn, we heard some pretty crazy screaming, and a crowd was forming near the back of the barn. We made our way through the crowd, and discovered that these little guys were making all the noise-
What pigs!!
