(View of downtown Juneau from my front porch.)
Here in Juneau, October is usually one of the crappiest months of the year. So, when I wake up to sunshine on the mountains, I am pleasantly surprised. The bright sunshine, and cold autumn air make our little spot feel almost mid-western. When the sun comes out in Juneau, everyone comes out. Even if it's cold! The town will bundle up, and go outside. We live in a beautiful place, and we have to be sure we get to see it all while it's clear.
Before I head outside, I need to carbo load on Jeff's homemade sourdough bread.
And stitch up a couple of rows on my sweater.
And be sure Oscar is ready for a good run.
(More morning from my front porch.)
After I enjoy the sunshine, Jeff and I have our first Christmas Choir rehearsal this afternoon. I am so excited to get those tunes stuck in my head.
Happy Sunday! xo

Sunshine and sourdough? That's my idea of heaven.
