I am slowly getting my yarn stash in order. I've balled, Ziploc-ed, photographed, and digitally filed it all. I gave some scrap yarn to a friend, and now I am just back to basic wool. I also organized all my patterns, and I spend my free time updating my queue on Ravelry. All this means I'm not doing much knitting. I tend to get caught up in so many projects at once, so my new goal is to focus my energy on one project at a time. My bobble sweater is on hold, and I don't want to embark on a new project until that is done.
Halloween spookiness is in the air, and my 29th birthday is just around the corner. My birthday festivities will be put on hold, because Jeff is working non-stop on the Scott McAdams campaign. The US Senate race is really heating up. I voted today, and I can't wait to see the outcome. With the write-in distraction, we probably won't know until January. All I can say to fellow voters is this: Vote your values, not your fears.
And speaking of fear, I need to put together a costume. Any ideas?
Happy Halloween Weekend! xo
