Today is my 29th birthday. And it feel sooo good. :) In the last year, I have grown committed to Alaska and a man and a life, and now I'm deep in contentment. In the next 365 days, I hope to secure some sturdy, strong roots, and just let Juneau feed my soul. It already feels amazing to have so much to look forward to.
Jeff and I decided to postpone birthday festivities until Wednesday, because he is neck deep in campaigning. The U.S. Senate race here in Alaska is a three way tie, and the excitement and nervousness in the air feel more intense then the torrential rain. Lucky for me, I can only help out in a complete "non-partisan" way. Like supporting my man by making cookies.
